Nature Sanctuary
Garden Chapel Sanctuary has secured a Conservation Easement through Open Space STL for 2+ acres of woodland surrounding the church, keeping this area from development in perpetuity. We are actively working to develop a Nature Sanctuary that will be open for public use.

Support the Nature Sanctuary!
Creating the Conservation Easement and taking away the option for future development, decreases the value of the property by $300,000. To compensate for the decrease in value and to support the building out of the Nature Trail and Meditation Garden, we invite donations.
We have obtained a 2 to 1 matching grant from a Family Trust of up to $200,000. Your Donation of $1 becomes $3!!
Land Stewardship Committee
The Land Stewardship Committee of the Garden Chapel Sanctuary is responsible for stewarding the Emanuel Swedenborg Nature Sanctuary by creating a sanctuary for all beings, serving the community, and spreading the teaching/theology of Swedenborg.

This Committee is open to anyone from the community who has a passion for nurturing this sacred ecosystem. We meet at least once or twice per quarter. Please contact Admin@GardenChapelSanctuary.org for more information.
